Hueber-Breuer DEI Diversity, Equity, Inclusion

It goes without saying the racial and cultural make-up of the construction community in Upstate New York is largely homogeneous. Hueber-Breuer has taken deliberate action to improve and increase our diversity and inclusion but we CAN and WILL do more. Because, in the future, when we reflect on our corporate values of Caring and Community, we want to ensure that we are answering the call to extend our caring to the ENTIRE community, and to support the voices of the most disenfranchised among us. We will not be a silent bystander in this process; we are taking proactive steps to be deliberately accepting of all genders, races, orientations, and denominations.

Diversity Statement

The Hueber-Breuer Team is committed to creating a better community as well as better buildings.  We pledge to be a part of a collaborative effort to engage our neighborhoods, establish a diverse workforce, and encourage success for all those that choose to live and work in Upstate New York.  We recognize that more needs to be done to accurately reflect the diversity of our community.  We have renewed our commitment to cultivating and empowering the MWBE workforce along with the growing coalition of capable Veteran enterprises.  Hiring, mentoring, and teaming with MWBE and SDVOB contractors is an extension of our company culture of community service and engagement.

MWBE / SDVOB

Hueber-Breuer takes very seriously the development of a capable, professional, and engaged MWBE / SDVOB workforce in Upstate New York. Emblematic of our commitment to the mentoring, support, development, and utilization of Minority and Women owned businesses, many of our projects are completed for a diverse clientele.  A recent highlight of our focus on workforce has been the support and mentorship of the SDVOB community.  We are committed to cultivating and empowering a growing coalition of local, capable Veteran enterprises.  Hiring, mentoring, and teaming with these Veteran-owned businesses exhibits our gratitude to the service and sacrifice of this valued team of contractors and enhances the overall capabilities of our local contracting ecosystem.

Testimonials

Hueber-Breuer has been a great help to L.T. Giles Enterprise, Inc. and we wouldn’t be in business if not for them. They’ve been instrumental in helping my business develop and progress through valuable technical assistance, payment flexibility, change orders, and contract review. In working with Hueber-Breuer on multiple projects, they have always been very supportive.

E Smith Contractors LLC and SGTR, LLC has partnered with Hueber-Breuer on numerous projects across the Northeast. Each project, no matter how challenging it was in the beginning, turned out to be a huge success for my companies. Accounting, Mid-Level Management and Senior Management are there to support you and the client we work for. We truly feel like a partner when we work with HB and not like we are just another subcontractor. No matter what size company you are, HB can assist you in scaling your company. 100% HB has helped my company grow leaps and I know our future is brighter because of it.
