The Hueber-Breuer Team is committed to building a better community. We pledge to be a part of a collaborative effort to engage our neighborhoods, establish a diverse workforce, and encourage success for all those that choose to live and work in Upstate New York. We recognize that more needs to be done to accurately reflect the diversity of our community. We have renewed our commitment to cultivating and empowering the MWBE workforce along with the growing coalition of capable Veteran enterprises. Partnering with MWBE and SDVOB contractors extends our company’s culture of community service and engagement.

It goes without saying the racial and cultural make-up of the construction community in Central New York is largely homogeneous. Hueber-Breuer has taken deliberate action to improve and increase our diversity and inclusion but we CAN and WILL do more. Because, in the future, when we reflect on one of our corporate values, Caring, we want to ensure that we are answering the call to extend our caring to the ENTIRE community, and to support the voices of the most disenfranchised among us. We will not be a silent bystander in this process; we are taking proactive steps to be deliberately accepting of all genders, races, orientations, and denominations.

MENTOR SUPPORT ENGAGE DEVELOP

Each underrepresented company has different needs to allow them to be successful. Hueber-Breuer’s goal is to be flexible and supportive where needed, aiming to be “Firm but Fair.” Work scopes are tailored and modified to fit smaller companies. Hueber-Breuer helps with:

Pre-bid takeoffs, bid preparation, and procurement.
Reviewing contracts, completing necessary forms, and payment applications.
Contractors’ daily task scheduling, material, and equipment lists for efficiency.
On-site supervision, guidance, and layout assistance.
Monthly or bi-weekly billing, with early payments as needed.
Training and assistance with submittals for project compliance.
