Giving Back
We are thankful for our everyday comforts and hope never to take them for granted. Each year, during our annual Community Volunteer Day, nearly 100% of our employees volunteer at various nonprofit sites in the Syracuse neighborhood giving back by putting our skills as builders to good use. Our services are not limited to just building, because we also wrap, greet, paint, clean, donate food, make meals, serve meals, deliver meals, fill baskets, fill envelopes, give time and even give blood.
The need is great and our hearts are big.
Throughout the year, we continue our charitable efforts by highlighting causes to focus our giving and joining smaller community events as sponsors and participants. Our giving is a joy to our associates who lend their time on volunteer boards and engage in innumerable projects throughout the year often without mention or praise.

Bellevue Heights Nursery School
Andrew, Nick, Tim and Casey assisted with spreading 26 yards of mulch into the playground at Bellevue Heights Nursery School. They also rebuilt and reinstalled a broken birdhouse and built and installed a new mud kitchen for the students. They will also be helping to replace a broken bridge on the play structure and helping with the repairs of two wooden benches.

COVID-19 Community Support Fund
The Central New York Community Foundation, in partnership with the City of Syracuse, Onondaga County, the Allyn Foundation and United Way of Central New York, established a COVID-19 Community Support Fund to support nonprofit organizations working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
“Giving Back” has always been the culture at Hueber-Breuer, so it was a natural response to give during the Coronavirus pandemic call to action. We are eternally grateful to be in a position to support the community that has helped us prosper. We understand the implications the pandemic has and will have, on our neighbors – financially, physically, and mentally. We want to be a part of contributing to the relief effort and making a difference.
