When part of the complex burned down, the need for a new facility required was approved shortly after a commissioned facility assessment and report.
Hueber-Breuer was able to work on the site while new buildings were erected and existing buildings were renovated. Notable Design Features include an integration of existing and new maintenance facility spaces as well as reutilization of existing bridge crane into the new structure. A lower-level work area (a full basement designed to allow easy access to the vehicle undercarriage) was designed into maintenance bay areas. The site also features heated truck storage, modern, technologically advanced truck work/repair bays, and administrative buildings with computerized controls.
