Property Description
Centennial Hall provides the first on campus housing exclusively for ESF students. The building was assembled off site from 188 modules. It was erected and weather-tight in 10 weeks, allowing the project to be completed in 10 months. The wood framed student residence complex has two wings and is comprised of double bed suites, 2-room suites, and 4-room apartments. Common areas include lounges, computer labs, vending, laundry, bicycle storage, student co-op store, and fitness center.
An extremely aggressive schedule combined with severe winter conditions of bitter cold and a lot of snow threatened the move-in date. Use of modular construction was key in overcoming these challenges.
